Moving to a larger space to accommodate a growing team, and to house a more sophisticated storage system, the Pancake Parlour asked us to design their new head office fitout. They wished to transfer to a slightly more open plan work environment, whilst still maintaining individual workspace identity. In the new location, a deep floor plate posed a challenge for access to natural daylight, prompting us to open up the rear part of the building facing the laneway.  The introduction of glazing here created a connection between the front and rear of the office space.
