Straight Laced House Renovation brought a new life to this existing inner suburban “volume build” home by flipping the existing interior spaces around . A conservative and well articulated material palette ensued: a balance of neutral colours, with subtle expressions of timber and stone. The palette for Straight Laced House Renovation is lead by profiled strip panels in vertical format that subtly activate key walls and tie all the spaces together. By creating an interior that is both quiet and delightful, this “new formality” responds happily with the owners priorities in daily life; reading and doing quiet work; and the coming together at the end of each day.
